The Versatile Vizsla

A Vizsla as a lifestyle. My journey shaping Sawyer to be a truly versatile vizsla through Conformation, Hunting, and Obedience. But most importantly through all these endeavors Sawyer has become my loving and loyal companion for life.

Sawyer's First Show! Wine Country Kennel Club, Napa CA

Sawyer on a post show romp at John F. Kennedy Park in Napa

Duna (Red Dawn's Duna What-A-Good-Boy-Am-I JH) took BOB Sunday and went on a little romp with us before groups.
Aristo Littermates Tazmin, Vino (who also took Reserve Winners Dog as well as Best Puppy the next day) and Sawyer

Sawyer wins his class of 6-9 month puppy and takes Reserve Winners Dog in his very first show! Rather impressive considering I was handling him...

A Puppy Social

We were left with one tired boy!

In October we hosted a puppy social, we had a nice turn out of about nine Vizslas and more than double that in humans! Everyone had a great time, we were very pleased to have Lynn Martin come all the way from Citrus Heights for the day to see her pups Chloe, Oli and Sparky. Also to have Nancy Jones stop by with her puppy Mia for a bit of socializing.

September Fun

Ed and Sawyer at a Point Pinole Vizsla walk

Handsome puppy!

Chloe and Sawyer enjoying the day!

Chloe is still the boss of him...she took his stick, and he's just waiting for her to give it up

Its going to be a long wait!

A Visit to San Rafael

I just couldn't resist the portrait booth at the show...I know better now...BUT you have to admit this is a pretty handsome mug!

Puppy Gets a New Camera!

Even at the awkward stage, he's a handsome boy!

I still need quite a bit of practice, but at least I can get a clear shot of them at full speed! Bond, followed by Sawyer and Dagen at Fort Funston.

A huge thanks to Ed for getting me a nice new camera that can better capture this little guy now that he is so fast!
