The Versatile Vizsla

A Vizsla as a lifestyle. My journey shaping Sawyer to be a truly versatile vizsla through Conformation, Hunting, and Obedience. But most importantly through all these endeavors Sawyer has become my loving and loyal companion for life.

Week One Continues...

My little man is learning the lay of the land in his new yard

Sawyer blends right in on the rug while playing with his goldfish toy Dane and Theresa brought over on one of their puppy visits. Having people over to play with a new puppy is great for socialization!

One of my favorite puppy photos, such  a sweet little profile!

Well of course he needed his own little "Busy Bee", my nod to the movie Best In Show, if I'd only know how accurate that movie really turned out to be...

"Its a hard knock life..." Well, not for this particular puppy dog!

Don't let that innocent look fool you...he already has us all on the run! Its a good thing he's a darn cute puppy!

Day two...Or known as the morning after.... "The First Night".

Day two begins with Sawyer's first bath at his new home! Go Niners!

The humans are QUITE tired from the previous night's antics. Mr.Orange was missing his family in Red Bluff and told me all about it...all night long! Sawyer has already made himself quite at home, loves our two cats Madison and Haley, he is also undeterred by their not so welcoming warnings for him to keep his distance! He is a fearless little guy!

Puppy Visits and The Trip Home

CH. Drycreek's Jester of Aristo, CD x CH. Criodain's Brenna of Aristo, CGC has produced Our sleeping soon to be bundle of Mr. Orange joy!

After meeting proud poppa Jester and sweet Brenna we knew this was the litter for us. Jester was incredibly affectionate and gave us both the most amazing welcome on our very first visit! Mr. Orange, now known as "Sawyer", makes the trip home from Aristo Acres in Red Bluff, CA. Thank you to Joye and Chris Bondanza for our new little handsome puppy!

Sawyer goes right to sleep on the ride home, as it turns out I should have too...
